Tech Assessment Project

Welcome to the Tech Assessment Project, run by NPower's AmeriCorps VISTA team. Our Tech Assessment Project will provide small poverty alleviation nonprofits in the Seattle area with a snapshot of their current technology systems, and a strategy to take their systems to the next level -- all at no charge.

NPower's AmeriCorps VISTA team is excited to announce the launch of our Tech Assessment Project. Our team sees evidence every day of strategic technology planning helping organizations to achieve their goals - whether that means raising more money, communicating more effectively, or running better programs. Our Tech Assessment Project will provide small poverty alleviation nonprofits in the Seattle area with a snapshot of their current technology systems, and a strategy to take their systems to the next level -- all at no charge. Applications are due by March 23rd so don't delay!

Benefits of participating:

Each participating nonprofit will receive:

  • A technology assessment and strategy map that align with organizational goals and the NPower Northwest Technology Best Practices Model.
  • A set of specific technology recommendations that suggest areas for improvement, and tips for creating projects for grants or technology volunteers.
  • An invitation to three practicum trainings at NPower’s office tailored to the needs of the participating nonprofits.

All project services and final products are available free of charge to Tech Assessment Project participants thanks to funding from Google, Points of Light Foundation, and the AmeriCorps VISTA program, and support from NPower Northwest.
