How Our Program Works

NPower utilizes an industry-standard set of tools that enable us to monitor your technology systems remotely, resulting in higher quality monitoring and proactive support. Because we’ll always have an eye on your systems, we’ll often find out about potential disturbances before they begin to affect your work.

On a day-to-day basis, your technology will fade into the background. In the long-term, your organization’s staff will have the comfort of consistent, reliable service at a predictable cost.

Because no two nonprofits are alike, NPower offers three levels of subscription for our Stable & Secure Managed Services:

1) Strategic Support: For the savviest of clients, this subscription is for organizations that require a consistent level of support from month-to-month and also want to realize the benefits of a strategic approach to technology utilization. In addition to proactive management of existing systems and access to our support line, this subscription level provides your organization with regularly scheduled meetings with a consultant for planning and review, and an annual technology assessment and planning meeting that will help you determine your future technology needs as they relate to changes within your organization.

  • We’ll ensure that your systems are running as efficiently as possible and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • We’ll work with you to anticipate the changing needs of your organization and determine how technology can meet those emerging needs.
2) Expert Assistance: This subscription is designed for organizations seeking to supplement their in-house IT staff. Our nonprofit technology experts will work in partnership with your staff to tailor a complementary set of services based on the complexity of your systems and level of internal support.
    • Our team brings a unique perspective to your technology planning having worked with hundreds of nonprofit organizations, both large and small.

3) Infrastructure Essentials: This plan provides an essential level of service to meet technology best practices. We’ll monitor your systems remotely, make additional paid site visits as necessary to take care of issues that cannot be resolved from off-site, and give you access to our support line for an hourly fee.

Our goal is to tailor a strategy to maximize the return on your investment in technology. To make that happen we employ a toolkit of technology solutions, including but not limited to:

  • On-premise solutions: Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft Small Business Server, Microsoft Windows 7, and Microsoft Office
  • Hosted solutions: Office 365
