Discovery Blitz kick-off!

As we’ve been sharing over the last few months, NPower is all-in with our new strategic plan. Our plans charge us with formalizing our work to develop innovative solutions and delivery methods to solve unmet sector needs. Today marks the formal kick off of our Discovery process (think of this as our R&D process). To ground ourselves in the needs of the sector, we’ve been diligently collecting information from our clients, sector leaders, and for-profit tech leaders to identify some key needs.

We found many of the most pressing sector needs fell into these four categories:

1) Financial stability and growth

2) Capacity-building and organizational planning

3) Communications and marketing

4) Network building/partnership development

Once we identified the needs, our CIO Council and staff started the brainstorming process to identify solutions.

Starting at 2pm this afternoon, we’ll be offline to launch our first ever Blitz day! Here’s what we’re working on:

  • Cloud-readiness assessment
  • Stable and secure 3.0
  • Business continuity service
  • “Thing-a-thon”(walkathons, team fundraisers, etc.)
  • Batch gift entry for Salesforce
  • “Show the potential” with maps

Don’t be surprised if you feel a surge of brain power at NPower as we innovate and create. We'll be tweeting (@NPowerNW) and blogging throughout the process, so stay tuned for more!
