Patrick has an incredibly diverse set of interests. This former Seattle Aquarium volunteer has about a dozen hobbies including recording and performing with his band, The Popular Monsters, cycling, snowboarding, and home-brewing (almost 200 gallons brewed to-date!). He recently purchased a small sailboat and hopes to spend more time sailing in the coming months.

Most exciting recent project: “The Humanities Washington website (humanities.org) is my current favorite. They were great clients and the project resulted in a great website.”

Favorite tech tool: “I’m pretty impressed with Google Maps in general, and the bicycle route-finder in particular. It’s a cool example of how technology can support alternative methods of transportation.”

Stupid human trick: “I can roll a quarter across my knuckles like Val Kilmer in Real Genius.”

Fun fact: Patrick has an Erdős–Bacon number of 6.
