Nineta joined NPower with the desire to use technology to create greater good. Nineta got into the technology field a while back, and recently held a position a Software Engineer at Hewlett Packard. Her position within HP gave her the opportunity to get involved in the company’s Sustainability Network, a group of employees that volunteer time to promote green and sustainable practices in the workplace and beyond. Her involvement in that volunteer network led Nineta to pursue a Certificate in Nonprofit Management from the University of Washington in order to gain a better understanding of nonprofits. During her time in the certificate program, she began volunteering for Explorations in Math, combining her passions for math, education, and technology. This eventually led to a staff position as Internal Operations Manager where Nineta was tasked with addressing the technology needs of the organization. With her commitment to nonprofit technology solidified, Nineta joined our database consulting team in 2011.

Outside of work at NPower, Nineta has maintained her involvement as a volunteer for Explorations in Math, and also spends time helping at her son’s school and planting trees for The Mountains to Sound Greenway. She also plays on a USTA tennis team and enjoys skiing, ice skating, riding her bike, walking her dog, and spending time with her family.
