Alison Carl White
Alison, our fearless ED, is leading the NPower team to achieve our vision of a thriving community with high performing nonprofits. A “lifer” in the nonprofit community, Alison most-recently led the team at Seattle Works before joining NPower in March of 2010. Prior to that, she had gigs at VolunteerWorks and the Federal Way Chamber of Commerce, contributing to her collective 20 years of nonprofit experience.
Alison is active in the community as the Vice Chair of the Governor’s Commission on National and Community Service, and she currently sits on the board of United Way of King County. Outside of the nonprofit world, Alison likes to hang with her two kids, run, cook, keep up on entertainment gossip, and follow politics.
Favorite tech tool: HootSuite and Windows 7 phone - “The camera rocks!”
Most exciting recent project: NPower’s new strategic plan – “It’s great to have a roadmap to achieve our vision!”
Favorite coffee drink: Grande split shot nonfat latte with two raw sugars (they love her in the drive-thru) or regular coffee with hazelnut creamer.
