Kay Pitman - Treasurer

Kay is a Tax Partner of Deloitte and has been the Seattle Office Tax Managing Partner since June 2009. She began her career with Deloitte’s San Francisco office in 1990 as a tax staff professional. She’s worked on a variety of client initiatives that have taken her to several offices within the firm including Dallas, Washington DC, Chicago, and Boston. In addition to her work at Deloitte, Kay is a Co-Treasurer of the Northern California Chapter of Network of Executive Women (NEW), a national nonprofit organization that aims to attract, retain, and advance women in the retail and consumer products industries through education, leadership, and business development.

Born in San Francisco, Kay is a graduate of California State University Hayward where she majored in accounting. Kay has a passion for giving back to the community and has received a Jefferson Award for her community involvement with Children of Shelters, a nonprofit serving the needs of homeless children in San Francisco. She joined the NPower board in 2010 and started her term as Treasurer in 2011. She enjoys serving on the NPower board because it allows her to balance her business responsibilities with her passion to help others by providing education and enhancing technology.
