Dale Christian - Secretary

As Chief Information Officer at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Dale Christian is responsible for planning, developing, deploying, and running the technology that powers one of the largest philanthropic organizations in the world. Prior to joining the Gates Foundation, Dale served as CIO at Avanade and spent over a decade in various IT roles at Microsoft.

Prior to joining the Gates Foundation, Dale served as CIO at Avanade and spent over a decade in various IT roles at Microsoft.

Dale has been serving on NPower’s CIO Council since 2008 and has enjoyed having the opportunity to help chart the course of the organization in what has been a very exciting time in the technology industry. He joined the board in 2011, bringing with him his belief in the power of technology to unleash people’s creativity. Outside of work and service to NPower, he enjoys spending time with his family, reading, and traveling to warm places.
