Barbara Prutzman

Barbara is the Senior Director of IT Functional Excellence at Univar, making her responsible for the chemical distributor’s back office functions for their global IT department. Barbara came to Univar, and the Pacific Northwest, in 2010 following a 30-year career in the Delaware Valley. Her prior work experience includes several IT positions within major corporations, the likes of which include IBM, Campbell Soup Company, and ARAMARK. She also spent some time owning and operating her own consultancy.

Barbara is the Senior Director of IT Functional Excellence at Univar, making her responsible for the chemical distributor’s back office functions for their global IT department. Barbara holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Pennsylvania. She joined the NPower Northwest Board in 2011 with a wholehearted belief in the mission and is looking forward to leveraging her board service to connect with a network of like-minded individuals in Seattle. In addition to her role on the NPower Board, she also serves on the Board of Trustees for Peirce College in Philadelphia. In her down time, Barbara enjoys travel and being a grandparent.
