AmeriCorps VISTA Team

AmeriCorps VISTA is a national service organization that recruits individuals to serve for one year in the fight against poverty. AmeriCorps VISTA has partnered with the HandsOn Network to develop HandsOn Tech, a program that aims to increase the effective use of technology in nonprofit organizations. NPower Northwest was selected to serve as one of seven pilot sites for this newly launched program in 2011-2012.

AmeriCorps VISTA has partnered with the HandsOn Network to develop HandsOn Tech, a program that aims to increase the effective use of technology in nonprofit organizations.

NPower Northwest was selected to serve as one of seven pilot sites for this newly launched program in 2011-2012. As a result, in August 2011 we welcomed three AmeriCorps team members (pictured below), Stephen Eggers, Abby Nafziger, and Elissa Thomas. The AmeriCorps team will be working with us to create a set of IT Best Practices and supporting our community education efforts through brown bag training sessions.
